The Rotary Club of Uptown Kampala was birthed by the Rotary Club of Kampala South.

Literacy for All
Providing school supplies, reading materials, and after-school programs for underserved children in Kampala.
Free community health screenings, maternal care education, and collaboration with local clinics to increase access to essential services.

Our Corporate Membership Strategy Rotary partnerships amplify impact, enhance brand visibility, and support community improvement through global networks.
Youth programs

Kasawo Medical Camp by Rotary Club of Uptown Kampala.
On the 25th of October 2025, the Rotary Club of Uptown Kampala successfully organized a Medical Camp at Kasawo Health Centre III in Mukono District. The event aimed to extend quality healthcare services to the community as part of the club’s ongoing commitment to promoting health and wellness through service.
Rotary Club of Uptown Kampala Brings Free Medical Services to Kasawo Community
As part of its commitment to service and building healthier communities, the Rotary Club of Uptown Kampala organized a successful free medical outreach on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Kasawo Health Centre III in Mukono District.
GAKYAKALI MABAGA!
RI president James L. Bomar Jr led a team of volunteers on 29th September 1979, when he put the first drops of the polio vaccine into the mouths of children at a health center in Guadalupe Viejo, Makati, Philippines. Testimonies of appreciation and thanks followed.
Financial literacy training
The Rotary Club of Uptown Kampala recently empowered women vendors in Ntinda with a financial literacy training session. Held in the heart of the old and new markets, the workshop equipped participants with essential skills in budgeting, saving, and investing.
