Immy Nakyeyune Ainomugisha is a social entrepreneur and the founder of Mkazipreneur, a platform dedicated to empowering women-led startups and SMEs. Since 2018, Mkazipreneur has supported over 10,000 women entrepreneurs by equipping them with skills in technology, sales, and business strategy, while also facilitating access to capital. Through this work, the platform has helped launch sustainable, income-generating ventures and unlocked more than USD 1 million in funding for Ugandan businesses.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Immy is an accomplished community leader. She previously served as President of the Rotaract Club of Kampala South and is currently the Charter President of the Rotary Club of Uptown Kampala. She has also contributed extensively to service at both district and national levels, serving on multiple Rotary committees.
A Medical Doctor specializing in Internal Medicine, he is a dedicated healthcare professional with a strong focus on community health and ensuring access to quality care for all. As a passionate Rotaractor, they are proud to have completed the 5th Rotaract goal and have served actively at both club and Rotary district levels.
Notably, he was the Charter President of the Rotaract Club of Mbale Uptown, demonstrating leadership, commitment to service, and a vision for impactful community development. An aspiring Electrical Engineer, pursued secondary and tertiary education at Mvara Secondary School in Arua, Entebbe Secondary School, Uganda Technical College Elgon, and Kyambogo University, building a strong technical and academic foundation.
With a deep commitment to community service, Francis has dedicated nearly a decade to Rotary service, beginning in 2015. This journey includes active membership in the Rotaract Clubs of Lukuli Nanganda and Bweyogerere Namboole, and more recently, becoming a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Uptown Kampala, continuing a passion for leadership and service above self.
Tina Wamala is an award-winning public relations professional with over 12 years of experience in strategic communications. She is widely recognized for her influence in the industry, having been ranked among Africa’s Top 50 Influential Women (2023) and Uganda’s Top 20 PR Gurus (2024). Tina currently serves as Communications Officer at the British High Commission in Kampala.
A former media pioneer, Tina was the host of the popular Day Breaker show, where she built a strong reputation for engaging storytelling and thought leadership. She is a Chartered International Public Relations Professional and a corporate governance expert, with a strong passion for leadership and ethical practice.
Beyond her professional career, Tina is deeply committed to mentorship and community development. She mentors young professionals, emcees high-profile corporate events, and leads the PR Tribe through the Journey to the Boardroom initiative. As the Immediate Past President of the Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU), Tina is known for her energy, creativity, and unwavering commitment to impactful community service.
A Medical Doctor by profession, Josh is the Chief Executive Officer of Digital World Company Uganda Limited, where they provide strategic leadership in driving innovation and growth. Beyond their professional commitments, Josh is a devoted family person who values balance, integrity, and service.
Committed to community impact, Josh joined Rotary in 2013 and has since remained actively engaged in advancing Rotary’s mission of service above self, contributing time, expertise, and leadership toward initiatives that create lasting social change.
A Medical Clinical Officer by training, she serves as In-Charge at Vine General Medicare, while also working as a Surveillance Officer and Parish Supervisor for Kampala Central Division. With a strong commitment to strengthening health systems, she is a family planning coach and mentor, supporting health workers across various service delivery fields.
Their work spans both clinical and community health practice, including community health sensitization, outbreak response and risk communication, community medical outreaches, and school health programs. This integrated approach ensures improved access to preventive and curative health services at the grassroots level.
In leadership and governance, she serves as Chairperson of the Health Committee, Kampala Central, and is a member of the Ssaza Health Executive Committee, where they currently hold the position of Treasurer under the Buganda Kingdom Government. Through these roles, she continues to contribute to policy implementation, community engagement, and improved public health outcomes.
An accomplished Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) professional, He received academic training from Makerere University and the Uganda Management Institute (UMI). With a strong foundation in evidence-based programming, He is committed to using data and learning to drive effective development interventions.
Since 2015, He has actively contributed to community development through leadership roles at university level and within Rotaract. Through these platforms, He has been involved in the implementation of impactful projects focused on the girl child and boy child empowerment, water harvesting systems, and sanitation and hygiene initiatives, among others. A qualified lawyer, she currently works at Kyazze, Kankaka & Co. Advocates, where they are engaged in legal practice and client advisory services. Beyond the courtroom, she is also a farmer with a keen interest in apiculture (beekeeping), reflecting a passion for agribusiness and sustainable livelihoods.

Alan Ahumuza Mukitale, hailing from Kakindo Village in Buliisa District, is a business graduate of Uganda Christian University and a passionate farmer engaged in goat grazing, cattle keeping, and cash crop cultivation. Professionally, he serves with TotalEnergies EP Uganda in the Social Performance Directorate, where he focuses on community and environmental initiatives.
A sports enthusiast, Alan supports Vipers SC and Kitara FC, and actively participates in volleyball. He has been involved in Rotary service since his school days, leading impactful projects such as constructing homes in Jinja and classrooms for visually impaired students. Currently, as a member of Rotary Club of Uptown Kampala, Alan continues to demonstrate commitment to service, leadership, and community development.
A Medical Doctor, John currently works part-time at Nakasero Hospital and Medipal Internal Hospital. They are also an Internal Medicine resident at the College of Health Sciences, Makerere University, where they are advancing their clinical expertise and training in specialized patient care.
Sharon is a transformational HR leader and coach with 18 years of experience in human resources, administration, and business management. She is a seasoned expert in driving organizational growth and development, and, as a leadership coach and business consultant, she empowers individuals and teams to unlock their full potential.
Sharon currently serves at MSF International, where she leverages her expertise to deliver impact and excellence in human resource management and organizational development.
Beyond her professional work, Sharon is deeply committed to community service. She provides purpose coaching to young people, helping them align their passions, values, and strengths with their life goals. She also supports orphaned children through the Watoto Church ‘Sponsor a Child’ program and actively participates in Rotary community projects, reflecting her dedication to meaningful social impact.
A General Medical Practitioner with a strong interest in epidemiology and biostatistics, He is also an active medical tutor and passionate first aid advocate. Alex Owiny is a Clinical Epidemiologist, Lecturer, and Healthpreneur dedicated to improving health outcomes, with a strong focus on mental well-being. He gained international recognition through a feature on CNN’s Inside Africa, where he highlighted the mental health challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, bringing critical public health issues to a global audience.
Alex is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Victorious Medical Services Ltd., where he leads a growing network of affordable healthcare providers committed to making quality health services accessible to diverse communities. His work bridges clinical practice, public health research, and entrepreneurship to deliver practical, people-centered healthcare solutions.
