The Rotary Club of Uptown Kampala recently empowered women vendors in Ntinda with a financial literacy training session. Held in the heart of the old and new markets, the workshop equipped participants with essential skills in budgeting, saving, and investing.
Led by Rotary members, the interactive sessions tackled topics like managing daily finances, understanding loan options, and growing small businesses. Women shared experiences and learned from each other, fostering a supportive community.
“The training opened my eyes to better money management,” said one participant. “I can now separate business and personal finances.”
The club plans to continue supporting local women through similar initiatives, promoting economic empowerment and community growth.
By investing in women’s financial literacy, Rotary Uptown Kampala is investing in families and the future of Ntinda.
